Fading Forest
The bare aspens here have died, with their bare skeletons still standing, among a forest of living trees.
REASON FOR REJECTION: I'm not sure why I processed this photo in the first place. The right third feels disconnected from the left two-thirds because the right is almost entirely green. There is not enough underlying structure or pattern to the composition to pull it together so it feels like a more random rather than intentional arrangement.
