Backlit Cottonwoods, Ridgway, Colorado
A patch of vibrant backlit narrowleaf cottonwood trees along one of the county roads heading out of Ridgway, Colorado in autumn.
REASON FOR REJECTION: I like the idea here, with three dominant bunches of backlit cottonwood trees spread across the frame. The overall visual effect feels messy though and I do not like the darkness at the bottom of the frame.
