Rock Nettle

A blooming rock nettle plant grows along a canyon wall in the Death Valley National Park backcountry. The rock nettle plant is covered in stinging hairs so you do not want to get too close. From a safe distance, it is very worthy of your appreciation due to its beautifully shaped leaves, and in spring, creamy white flowers. Photo © copyright by Sarah Marino and Ron Coscorrosa.
