Midday Light
Autumn aspens, cottonwood trees, and evergreens in southwestern Colorado.
REASON FOR REJECTION: I do not know why I processed this photo in the first place. The upper third is just unappealing to me now. I like the line of bright aspens at the bottom but it feels cut off. With both the bottom and top not working, I should have rejected this the first time through my catalog. In the field, I should have repositioned myself and zoomed in a lot more (which I eventually did on a separate visit to this spot and included the result in the portfolio).
