Low Clouds
Low clouds hang over aspen-covered hillsides. San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado.
REASON FOR REJECTION: I like the mood of this photo, along with the shape of the fog and hints of layering. The little glimpses of mountains and aspens do not feel like enough to pull it all together. I processed a lot of photos from this outing because it was so much fun and felt productive at the time but the photos just haven't stood up with repeated viewing. I'd consider this photo even less appealing compared to the last one in this rejects set. Photo © copyright by Sarah Marino and Ron Coscorrosa.
