Dormant Phase
Because we mostly visit Death Valley National Park in the winter, we often see the plants only in their dormant phase. With the right light, these dormant plants can still offer beauty. They are also part of telling the story of the desert since plants like this are a dominant feature of the landscape and visual experience of the park during the winter.
