Desert Holly Blooms
Desert holly plants are dioecious, meaning that female and male flowers grow on separate plants. The female flowers are disc-shaped and green while the male flowers, like those shown here, are reddish-brown clusters. Desert holly are common at the lower elevations of Death Valley National Park.
