Cholla Cactus
Cholla cactus are easiest to see when the sun is behind them and their spines glow. Otherwise, they tend to blend into the landscape. While they are best given some space, it is worth taking a close but careful look to enjoy the beautiful details of this plant in all its phases. Death Valley National Park, California.
