My favorite park in the southwest United States in my favorite season of the year! While Zion isn't on the leaf-peeper radar like New England or Colorado, it can than hold its own. Zion's elevation profile means there's almost always some fall color somewhere, somewhen during the season. From the oaks and maples of higher elevations (October) to the yellow cottonwoods at lower elevations (early to mid November) there's always some color somewhere, and even when it's bad, it's good!
