Yellowstone is the most distinctive national park in the US National Park System. There is no other park that gets up to the crazy amount of geothermal shenanigans that Yellowstone does. If that's not enough, and it is, the wildlife in Yellowstone is incredible as well. Bison, elk, pronghorn, grizzly and black bear, and if you're lucky, wolves will be seen on most visits. That's just some of the mammals. Then comes winter, when the landscape is completely transformed into something that words fail to express.
