Some of these soft plants are quite sharp, but one of the beauties about the medium of photography is how one can alter the literal qualities of a subject and reveal its abstract qualities. A sharp plant can become delicate and soft, highlighting its colors and shape. A thunderous waterfall can be made smooth and graceful. A blistering sand storm can become look calm and peaceful. In all these cases both (opposing!) perspectives are true at the same time, but photography allows us to reveal that other less obvious perspective.
