Iceland: Grand Scenics

The tourist landscape of Iceland has changed a lot since Sarah and I first visited in 2012, as in, there are a lot more tourists now. We, also being tourists, cannot blame the other tourists for to do so would be to blame ourselves, and I'm not in the business of taking responsibility for my behavior, I'm in the business of rationalizing it (after the fact, typically). The actual landscape itself though is awesome, was awesome, and will continue to be awesome, regardless of the fluctuations of tourist populations (which can be bypassed in nocturnal summer visits or just by going off the beaten path just a little). This small island punches above its weight in terms of jaw dropping visual scenery, which is why I, a guiltless tourist, will keep coming back.
