Grand Teton National Park

Despite the ridiculous name (lonely French fur trappers should not name mountains) Grand Teton National Park is stunning and probably has the most iconic mountain range view in the lower forty eight. While the mountains are probably the singular highlight, the trees, foliage, and wildlife viewing are also exceptional, and every season brings something different. It's an amazing park and so different from Yellowstone, it's immediate neighbor to the north (and we frequently visit both together on the same trip).
