Can photographs of rocks be considered Abstracts? Who cares! That's where I'm putting these, even though they are (mostly) very obviously rocks, they work as photographs because of their abstract qualities: patterns, texture, repetition, and color, rather than their literal rock-qualities. Rocks are everywhere, and these photographs were photographed from everywhere (from remote backcountry canyons to a few feet off a busy highway).
